Defining the executive coach’s role

What is executive coaching?

Executive coaching  is an ongoing professional relationship that helps people produce extraordinary results in their lives, careers, businesses or organizations. Executive coaching is a form of professional development that brings out the best in people, uncovers strengths and skills, builds effective teams, cultivates compassion and builds emotionally resilient leaders. At its essence, coaching is the way that human beings, and individuals, have always learned best (Elena Aguilar)

What is the executive coach’s role?

By providing the space for reflection, discovery, planning, strategic thinking and vulnerability, the executive coach helps clients gain clarity, improve their performance, and enhance their quality of life. By prioritizing  inquiry, dialogue, strategic goal setting and reflection, the coach serves as a strategic thinking partner, accountability partner and critical friend.  The executive coach empowers the client to explore and leverage his/her values, confront self-imposed barriers to success and commit to sustainable change.

The relationship is driven by the strengths and needs of the client, but  the relationship will also be a true partnership. Drawing upon years of leadership experience and high quality training, we guide the client through the process of attaining greater self-awareness. Then, we empower you to have even greater  professional and personal growth.

Success is knowing your purpose in life, growing to reach your maximum potential, and sowing seeds that benefit others.
